The YCRI is pleased to announce an upcoming lecture to celebrate Constitution Day.    In conjunction with the Political Theory Workshop, YCRI will host George Thomas, Professor of Government at Claremont McKenna College. He will offer a paper on “Religious Liberty, Same-Sex Marriage, and Public Accommodations.”  The lecture will take on Wednesday, September 23rd from 4:15-6:00pm in Rosenkranz Hall, Room 202. The Yale Center for the Study of Representative Institutions in conjunction with the Jack Miller Center seek to appoint a Post-doctoral Associate for a period of one year, commencing July 1, 2015.  Preference will be given to candidates working on aspects of the political and theoretical foundations of representative government in the Atlantic world from 1650-1850. The Post-doctoral associate will be expected to teach one course per term, to participate in an annual summer institute, to assist in the organization of conferences, speaker series, and symposia, and to produce a final synthetic Link to full article
