The Yale Center for the Study of Representative Institutions (YCRI) would like to announce an upcoming book conference: 

The Sleeping Sovereign: A Book Panel Discussion of Richard Tuck’s Recent Treatment of Modern Democracy
 

Please join us Friday, April 7th, 2016 from 1:30-5:00pm at the Hall of Graduate Studies, Room 211, 320 York Street, New Haven, CT, for a conversation following the publication of Richard Tuck’s new book on sovereignty and democratic thought.

Comments will be offered by Michael Sonenscher (Cambridge), Melissa Schwartzberg (NYU), and Sanford Levinson (Texas Law). 
 
Please also mark your calendars for a partnering lecture by one of the conference’s participants, Michael Sonenscher, on Thursday, April 6th from 4:00-6:00pm, also at the Hall of Graduate Studies, Room 211. More details on the lecture to come soon.
